Краткое прохождение
- Receive the quest by walking into Валтум and speaking to the ghost named Валдар.
- Collect the Vessels from each of Hevnoraak's minions. Each is guarded by a Draugr of some kind.
- Kill Хевнорака with the help of the quest giver.
Полное прохождение
- Receive the quest. Note: All the chains and handles for doors are right next to or just before them. You should be able to locate them easily.
- Once you reach the room with two turns that is filled with oil and pressure plates, there will be a retractable stone wall on the left side and a handle just to the left of it. Hit the handle and pass through. This will lead you to the first vessel, guarded by some variety of Draugr.
- Turn around and continue through the dungeon until you find the Valthume Catacombs.
- In the Valthume Catacombs follow your quest marker to the gate. Just before the gate on the right will be a chain which opens it. Kill the Draugr and collect the Vessel.
- Continue on and pick up the Iron Claw. Order top to bottom is: Dragon, Eagle, Wolf. Pass through the door and kill the Draugr guarding it for the third Vessel.
- Return to Valthume and speak to Valdar. He will tell you to empty the Vessels into the Sconce (he's looking at it when you walk in). Do so and sit on the throne in front of the Sconce, triggering the battle.
- Watch the lightning go, then kill Hevnoraak and loot his mask. He is one of the eight named dragon priests in Skyrim.
- There are multiple leveled Undead here, which may make this area difficult at higher levels.
- After defeating Hevnoraak, be sure to talk to Valdar one last time to complete the last quest objective. He'll tell you to grab the iron Dragon Mask "Hevnoraak" (immunity from disease and poison) from Hevnoraak's corpse.

- The bars in front of the Word Wall are removed as a result of the player "reaching over" the pedestal of the third Vessel to pick it up, not the acquisition of the Vessel itself. As a result, if the Vessel is sent flying during combat the Wall will seem to be unreachable and bugged. To fix it and lower the spikes just jump over the pedestal.
